Rajganj, 03 June (Siliguri Chronicle) – The 136th Tirodhan Divas of Baba Loknath Brahmachari was observed with devotion and religious fervour across different parts of Rajganj Block on Wednesday.
Special prayers, rituals, and religious programmes were organized from the morning at the Akarigachh Banabhasa Adi Loknath Mandir and the Akarigachh Loknath Mission. A large number of devotees gathered at the temples to offer prayers and seek blessings on the occasion.
Devotees from various areas visited the temples throughout the day and participated in the celebrations with great enthusiasm and reverence.
Bhavatosh Dutta said that a series of religious and cultural programmes had been organised over the past three days to mark the occasion, with Tuesday being the main day of the observance. He added that the annual puja at the temple has now entered its 44th year.
