Jalpaiguri, 01 June (Siliguri Chronicle) – Government schools across Jalpaiguri reopened on Monday after the summer vacation, with classes commencing in line with state government guidelines.

The day began with morning prayers and the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’ during school assemblies. A similar scene was witnessed at Sonaulla Primary School, where students assembled in rows within the school premises and joined together in singing the national song.
