Jalpaiguri, 08 May (Siliguri Chronicle) – Archisman Majumder from Jalpaiguri has made the district proud by securing the 10th rank in the West Bengal Madhyamik Examination 2026. He scored an impressive 688 out of 700 marks in the state board examination.
A resident of the Sirishtala area in Jalpaiguri town, Archisman has been known for his academic excellence since childhood. He has been studying at Jalpaiguri Zilla School since Class 6. His success has brought happiness to his family, teachers, and local residents.
Archisman’s father, Amit Majumder, works at Ananda Chandra College. Family support played a significant role in his academic journey. His father personally guided him in science subjects, while three private tutors helped him prepare for Bengali, English, History, and Geography.
Speaking about his achievement, Archisman said regular study habits and continuous support from his family were the main reasons behind his success.
