Rajganj, 30 May (Siliguri Chronicle) – Rajganj’s newly elected MLA Dinesh Sarkar visited the residence of former MLA Khageswar Roy on Friday after learning about his illness and enquired about his health condition.
According to sources, the two leaders held a detailed discussion on several issues during the visit. Along with Khageswar Roy’s health, they also exchanged views on various development-related matters concerning Rajganj.
BJP leaders Tapan Roy and Madhabi Roy were also present during the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, former TMC MLA Khageswar Roy said that Dinesh Sarkar has known him for many years and had come for a courtesy visit. He added that discussions were also held on the future developmental needs of Rajganj.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA Dinesh Sarkar said he visited Roy after hearing about his illness. He stated that he sought Roy’s advice on various matters and said his suggestions would continue to be valuable for the development of Rajganj in the future.
