Fulbari, December 26 (Siliguri Chronicle) – A man was killed in a road accident on Thursday night after his motorcycle fell into a temporary roadside drain in Champadanga village under Fulbari II Gram Panchayat. The victim has been identified as Gopal Roy, a resident of the village.

According to local sources, Gopal Roy was returning home on his motorcycle after shopping at Fulbari market on Thursday night. Near the entrance to his house, a large pit had been dug along the roadside for a long time to create a temporary drain.
