Siliguri, 05 May (Siliguri Chronicle) – Shankar Ghosh has been re-elected from the Siliguri Assembly constituency, securing his second consecutive term.
Since Tuesday morning, a large number of BJP workers, supporters, and local residents gathered at the party office to congratulate him. The celebrations created a festive atmosphere, with supporters welcoming him with bouquets and garlands.
Speaking after his victory, Ghosh said the result reflected the trust of the people. He added that he remains committed to meeting their expectations and continuing his work for the constituency.
He said his priorities will include overall development of Siliguri, improving infrastructure, generating employment opportunities, and strengthening civic services.
