Rajganj, 30 March (Siliguri Chronicle) – In a show of unity ahead of the upcoming Assembly elections, Krishna Das and Khageswar Roy set aside their differences to jointly attend a workers’ meeting in support of Trinamool Congress candidate Swapna Barman. The event was held at the Belakoba Harimandir premises in Rajganj.
During the meeting, Krishna Das was seen placing his hand on Khageswar Roy’s shoulder, a gesture that signaled camaraderie and drew enthusiasm from party workers and supporters present at the venue. The leaders also held discussions on campaign strategies and coordinated plans for the days ahead.
Meanwhile, it was announced that Abhishek Banerjee, General Secretary of the Trinamool Congress, will address a public meeting on April 1 at Ambari in Sudamganj in support of Swapna Barman.
The gathering underscored the party’s focus on resolving internal differences and presenting a united front as the election campaign intensifies.
