Siliguri Police Commissioner Steps Out to Check City’s Readiness Ahead of Ram Navami

Siliguri, 26 March (Siliguri Chronicle) – The administration has stepped up security preparations ahead of Ram Navami, with authorities aiming to ensure a safe and peaceful celebration across the city.

Police Commissioner Syed Waquar Raza on Thursday inspected several key locations, including NTS More, Hashmi Chowk, Ramkrishna More and ISKCON More, to review on-ground arrangements.

Speaking to reporters, the Commissioner said that the primary focus is on the safety of citizens during the festival. He added that special measures are being put in place to prevent any security lapses and maintain law and order.
