Fulbari, 20 March (Siliguri Chronicle) – Trinamool Congress candidate Ranjan Sil Sharma on Friday stepped up his campaign in the Dabgram-Fulbari Assembly constituency, alleging that the sitting BJP MLA has failed to deliver significant development over the past five years.
Sharma held campaign activities at Fulbari Bazar under Fulbari II Gram Panchayat, where he was joined by party workers and supporters. A considerable number of local residents participated in the outreach programme.
Speaking to the media, Sharma claimed that development in the area has slowed, leaving residents without several basic services. He said that, if elected, his top priority would be to bring the Dabgram-Fulbari area under a municipal body within a year. He also stressed the need to address the long-standing water crisis to improve essential services.
He further stated that the Trinamool Congress government remains committed to development, highlighting various projects implemented under Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. Sharma added that efforts would continue to ensure overall development in the Dabgram-Fulbari region.
