Siliguri, January 01 (Siliguri Chronicle) – On the first day of the New Year, a large number of devotees gathered at Siliguri’s historic Mayer Ichha Kalibari to offer prayers and seek blessings.
From the early hours of the morning, people from different parts of the city and nearby areas arrived at the temple for darshan of the goddess. The steady flow of devotees marked a spiritual beginning to 2026, with many choosing to start the year with prayers and devotion.
By sunrise, long queues had already formed outside the temple as devotees patiently waited to offer prayers for happiness, peace, good health, and the fulfillment of their wishes in the New Year.
Throughout the morning, the temple premises remained filled with an atmosphere of devotion and faith, reflecting the deep spiritual sentiments of the visitors.
