Mamata Banerjee Heads to Naxalbari to Rally for TMC Candidate, Big Show in the Works

Naxalbari, 21 March (Siliguri Chronicle) – Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee will campaign in Naxalbari on March 24 in support of the party’s candidate for the upcoming assembly elections. Preparations for the public rally are already underway.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at the grounds of Nand Prasad Balika Vidyalaya in the Matigara–Naxalbari assembly constituency. A helipad is also being constructed at the venue to facilitate her visit.

On Saturday, senior officials, including the Siliguri Police Commissioner and members of the Darjeeling district police, inspected the site along with party leaders to review security and logistical arrangements.
