Siliguri, 21 March (Siliguri Chronicle) – Special preparations are underway for Hanuman Jayanti in Siliguri this year, with organisers aiming to attract more residents through a unique theme.
At the Netaji Para Tarun Dal puja in the Uttar Shanti Nagar’s Boubazar area, a special depiction of Lord Hanuman in his child form will be showcased. Organisers said the idea is to present something different that will capture the attention of visitors.
Work on the idol is progressing rapidly, with artisans carefully shaping the structure to bring the theme to life.
Notably, this marks the second year of the Netaji Para Tarun Dal puja. Following a positive response during its inaugural edition, organisers have planned a larger celebration this time, introducing a new theme to offer a fresh experience for attendees.
