Gangaur Utsav Lights Up Gandhi Maidan in Siliguri with Color and Celebration

Siliguri, 21 March (Siliguri Chronicle) – Gangaur Utsav was celebrated at Gandhi Maidan in Siliguri, organised by the committee of Ward No. 8 under the Siliguri Municipal Corporation. The event was held under the leadership of Shalini Dalmia, continuing a tradition observed annually.

Women from the ward participated enthusiastically in the festivities. They performed the traditional Ghoomar dance to Rajasthani music and exchanged greetings, reflecting a strong sense of community and celebration.

Dressed in vibrant traditional attire, married women added colour and energy to the occasion, with the entire venue echoing the festive spirit of Gangaur.
