Siliguri, 26 March (Siliguri Chronicle) – CPI(M) candidate Saradindu Chakraborty intensified his election campaign in Siliguri on Thursday, reaching out to residents at prominent public spaces including Siliguri College Ground and Baghajatin Park.
Accompanied by party workers, Chakraborty interacted with morning walkers during his visit, engaging in conversations on local issues and listening to their concerns. Since the announcement of his candidature, he has been actively campaigning across different parts of the city.
During the outreach, he spoke with residents at both locations and took note of their grievances. He also used the opportunity to criticise both the central and state governments.
Chakraborty alleged that public trust in both the Trinamool Congress and the BJP has declined, and expressed confidence that the CPI(M) would benefit from this shift in sentiment in the upcoming elections.
