Siliguri Police Arrest Three Over Suspected Robbery Plan

Siliguri, 22 March (Siliguri Chronicle) – Police from New Jalpaiguri Police Station arrested three individuals in the Central Colony area for allegedly assembling with the intent to commit robbery.

The accused have been identified as Bikash Sarkar, Akhil Sarkar, and Makhan Bhakta.

According to police sources, a group of around 8 to 10 individuals had gathered in the area, allegedly planning a robbery. Acting on a tip-off, police carried out a swift raid at the location. Several suspects managed to flee after spotting the police, but three were apprehended on the spot.

The arrested individuals were produced before the Jalpaiguri Court on Sunday. Police have launched a detailed investigation into the incident.
