Fulbari, January 03 (Siliguri Chronicle) – A teenage boy was found dead, hanging from a noose, in the Fulbari area on Saturday, triggering shock and grief across the locality.
Family members discovered the boy and immediately alerted the authorities. The incident has devastated the household, with the parents reportedly inconsolable over the sudden loss.
The incident took place on Saturday morning in Kanchanbari, under Fulbari II Gram Panchayat. Police recovered the body of Biplab, an eighth-grade student, from his room, sparking shock and grief in the local community. Authorities have launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
Family members said Biplab had no conflicts with anyone at home, leaving relatives shocked and searching for answers behind his sudden death. According to them, he had dinner with the family on Friday night and went to bed as usual. On Saturday morning, after repeated calls went unanswered, family members forced open his room door and discovered him hanging.
After receiving the information, NJP police rushed to the scene, recovered Biplab’s body, and sent it for a post-mortem examination at North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH). Authorities have launched a detailed investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding his death.
